Part 1:
This was my most successful image because I was able to time the lighting so that the sun was shinning directly on the flower making its yellow color pop against the bright blue sky. The most challenging aspect of this assignment for me was taking a figuring out how to take a descriptive photograph without adding to much expression. In the future I will think more about the category my photo falls in so that I can effectively convey my vision to the viewer.
Part 2:
My comment on another students post, "Hi Claire, I really like how you were able to maintain a bird theme across multiple categories of images. Being able to catch a bird in motion with its wings extended in good lighting with a neutral background is also really impressive."

Olivia Adams - I think this photo is a great success for this challenge because it is very aesthetically appealing. while also being descriptive. I was originally drawn to the photo for its brightness and vibrant colors. The daffodils are easy to make out in the photo and provide a great color contrast against the bright blue sky. I think to make it a bit more descriptive in nature, I would zoom in slightly to keep the flowers as the focus of the image rather than having them be in only half of the frame.

I agree that this was your most successful image for this challenge. the color scheme and exposure make the image really pop! Additionally, the way that the flowers are arranged create almost a V-shape, which adds the dimension of the image and adds almost a 2-point perspective element to it. That was a very great compositional choice on your end, how you frame the flowers to be directly against the sky rather than having more flowers in the background.
Hi Andrew! I agree that this was your most successful image from this photo challenge because the image is very clear and detailed. When exploring the other photos you took, this image caught my eye immediately. You captured the flowers at a great angle, allowing the sunlight to reflect the vibrant colors in order to create a very aesthetically appealing photograph. The lighting and composition allowed you to achieve a great photo!
